MEET DR. SEIDMAN

Dr. Barry Seidman graduated from Lafayette College in 1974, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa in Biology. He attended Medical School at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY 1974-1978. He did his urology residency 1978-1983 at Mount Sinai Medical Center NY.  He has been in Private practice since 1983, and has served as Chief of Urology at Overlook Medical Center in Summit NJ.

OUR HEALTH SERVICES

Atlantic Coast Urology Center’s services include laser TURP (transurethral resection of the prostate), circumcision, vasectomy, penile prosthesis, bladder tumors and shock wave treatment of kidney stones.

SEXUAL DYSFUNCTION

Male erectile dysfunction treated with medication or penile implant surgery. Medical treatment for male and female arousal problems and hormonal disorders.

KIDNEY STONES

Lithotripsy (shock wave treatment), LASER treatments and medical treatment/prevention of stone formation.

UROLOGICAL CANCERAll

Urological cancers are treated, affiliation with Overlook Medical Center’s Carol Simon Cancer Center, and Cyberknife treatments. We specialize in prostate and bladder cancer care.

URINARY INCONTINENCE

Evaluation, medical treatment and surgical options if needed.

PROSTATE TREATMENTS

For enlarged prostates both medical and surgical treatments are available. Traditional and LASER surgical treatments are performed, when needed, at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ.

VOIDING DYSFUNCTION

Treatment of urinary frequency, urgency, pelvic pain and control of urinary incontinence.

Expert Diagnosis

Dr. Seidman is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology. Clinical history, physical examination, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI are utilized, as required, to make the correct diagnosis.

Emergency Care

Urgent cases are seen on a same day basis during office hours. 24 hour on call coverage, including weekends.
